I have learned

I HAVE LEARNED
 “I love you” is a lie
     If it can’t endure
          In the worst of times

I HAVE FOUND
When I think it’s over
              It’s not!
And Grief is a living creature
    That haunts my nights

I HAVE EXPERIENCED
How cruelty comes
        From the most
                Unexpected Places

I KNOW
A true friend is more  
       Valuable than gold

I HAVE DISCOVERED
When I thought I couldn’t
       Go one step further
                 I did

I HAVE REALIZED
That I am strong
      Even when I am afraid
             And regardless of
                  The outcome
                  I will be okay
